Bluetooth technology has a range of approximately 30 feet. This technology can transmit the radio signals through objects such as walls. The connection is instant and secure.
Bluetooth and hearing aid technology merged in 2002. This enables the wearer’s hearing aid and a Bluetooth device, such as a cell phone, to communicate for hands free, cords free use.
