Have you wanted the ability to have some control over your hearing aids, but did not want to carry around a bulky remote? Now some new hearing aids can be adjusted with the use of any phone be it a cell phone, cordless telephone, or corded phone. The phone has to have an audible “beep” when the keys are pressed for this function to work. The hearing aid recognizes the beeps and allows the hearing aid to be adjusted up or down in volume, or even to change to a different program. This allows the hearing aid user to be able to make adjustments to the aids themselves without having to carry a specific remote control to do it.
